He was an extremely talented and active 14 year old guitar student at LaVilla School of the Arts, and had recently been accepted to Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Liam was also a beautiful singer and prolific songwriter for his age. He was a loving son, brother, and grandson, with a kind and gentle spirit. He spent his free time writing and playing music, skateboarding, and just enjoying life. He was a brilliant artist and was full of love, especially for animals. He had a passion for helping people in need, specifically the homeless, and was always thinking of ways he could give to others who were less fortunate.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Rev. Dr. Richard Martin Turk and paternal aunt, Melissa Turk Beasley. He is survived by his parents, Ryan Turk and Angela Binkley Turk, his siblings, Jude and Jillian Turk, his maternal grandparents, William E. Binkley, Jr. and Barbara Jefferies Binkley, paternal grandmother, Rev. Davette Turk, and maternal uncle and aunt William E. Binkley, III, and Kimberly Binkley, as well as numerous loving and supportive friends, relatives, and a host of well-loved pets.
Services will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church at 4171 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207 on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Donations in his name to the LaVilla Foundation at www.lavillafoundation.org would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
