Predeceased by wife Joan; brother Douglas and sister Lorraine. Survived by daughter Sherry, son Clarke; a niece and nephew. Born in the Kootenays, he came to Vancouver Island with his family and moved to Coombs in 1949. The family bought the Coombs General Store and Lloyd worked in the store and doing deliveries. He met Joan during a dance in Coombs where she had attended with some friends. The two married in 1950 and Lloyd started working in the Pulp Mill where he worked for over 30 years. When not working at the Mill he loved to watch sports on TV, working at the property at the lake, working in his yard and loved reading so much, he read a book a day.
