Robert was born on February 2nd 1941.
Robert served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He married Zona Earle (Poff) Clark on February 26th 1966. Robert “Bear” was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic at Frito Lay for 38 years.
After his retirement he went on to sell rocking chairs at the Post Old Mill Trade Days and then on to shuttling vehicles for Brink Fleet. Most recently he had joined the South Plains Wood Turners. He had won many awards from the South Plains Fair for his talent in wood working.
He is preceded in death by his father Cleo C. Clark and mother Laurel L. Clark and brother Jim Clark.
Robert is survived by his wife Zona Clark of 54 years, and brothers Bill Clark, Mike Clark, David Clark and sister Beth Hart. His children Timothy Clark and his wife Rachel Clark, Craig Clark and his wife Raina Clark. His Grandchildren include Callie Clark, Zoie Clark, Travis Clark, Joseph Sherman, C.J. Clark, Tori Clark.
The family would ask that in lieu of flowers gifts in honor be made to the South Plains Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Services will be at Forrest Heights United Methodist Church at 12:00PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
