Born in Newark, the oldest of 11 children, to the late Josephine (nee LaMorte) and Michael Corona, Madeline lived in Lyndhurst for more than 30 years. She would then live in Toms River and Nutley before finally settling in Old Bridge.
Madeline worked as a saleswoman for Macy's/Bamberger’s in the WIllowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ for 23 years retiring in 1992.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was also predeceased by her husband, Leonard, in 1973.
She is survived by her son, Gennaro Landi and his wife Mary Louise, a brother William Corona, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers kindly make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11 am, in St. Lucy's Church in Newark, followed by the interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. There will be no visitation prior to Mass and arrangements are being handled through the LaMonica Memorial Home in Livingston.
