Luevon Lee, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in Fort Smith. She started her journey in Searcy, being born to George and Annie Poe. She had worked for Calvert McBride Printing for twenty years. Then traveling all over the United States as a sales executive. She then worked in Cracker Barrel’s retail department for ten years. She loved God and attended The Pentecostal Church of Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert G. Lee; and a sister, Elouise Abbott.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Bassett of Tulsa, and Paula Barras and Eddie Bassett, both of Van Buren; her grandchildren, Selena Lee of Alma, Darci Carter and Kristi Wiseley, both of Tulsa, Joseph Bassett of Van Buren, and Miyoshi Wright of Oklahoma City; and her great-grandchildren, Joshua Lee of Nashville, Kody Lee of Fort Smith, Jalen and Azaria Wright of Oklahoma City, Kaylee and Annabel Carter of Tulsa, Everleigh and Brooks Wiseley of Tulsa, and Marcus Davis of Lake Charles, LA.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
