Gerard Ronald Van Atta

On July 11, 2021, Gerard Ronald Van Atta passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Van Atta (nee Scheckles); devoted father of Douglas M. Van Atta, Phillip G. Van Atta, Christopher P. Van Atta, and the late Lawrence W. Van Atta; loving grandfather of Colin, Bradley and wife Katrina, Christopher, and Jessica Van Atta, and Douglas Hynes; great-grandfather of Connor Van Atta. Gerard is survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236 on Friday, July 23, 2021, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., and where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
