Nicholas David McGuinness

age 40, passed away on October 6, 2020. He was born on July 3, 1980 to Bernie and Michele (Bogle) McGuinness. He graduated from Bishop Chatard High School. After high school, Nicholas graduated from Ball State University and Pepperdine University with his Juris Doctorate. Nicholas was a brilliant trial attorney and public defender in Marion county. He was a Pepperdine Alumni and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. Nicholas is survived by his parents, Bernie (Karen) McGuinness and Michele McGuinness; siblings, Bernie (Jennifer) McGuinness III, Dr. Maureen (Scott) Sampson, Shannon (Chris) Kennedy and Courtney Cooper; nephews and nieces, Bernie McGuiness IV, Elizabeth McGuinness, Emma McGuinness, Samantha McGuinness, Kate Sampson, Joey Sampson, Allie Sampson, Emily Duggan, Conrad Cooper, Clara Cooper, Brenna Cooper, Annabelle Kennedy and Shaeleigh Kennedy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 7:00 PM. Entombment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM.
