Jacky Ann Tatom went to be with the Lord on February 21st, 2021. Jacky Ann was born on November 18th, 1948, in Austin, to Byron and Norma (Hornsby) Ashabranner. Jacky was such a kind hearted soul that always spoke her mind. She was also a loving wife to her caring and devoted husband George. They were married on December 11th, 1996 and shared 24 unforgettable years together. Over the years they went on to build a beautiful family together. Jacky Ann loved to be around her family and soaking in the time she was able to spend with all of her children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. When she wasn’t spending time with her family you could find her cuddled up to a good John Grisham book that she couldn’t set down. While reading she would always have her poodle “Little Man” by her side, which she considered to be one of her children. Jacky Ann was also a part of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Austin, where she attended for a part of her life. Jacky Ann will forever be remembered to those who cherished her and will be truly missed.
Jacky Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Norma (Hornsby) Ashabranner; brother, William Ashabranner; sisters, Nicky Ruth Landis-Crelia, Catherine Porter. Jacky Ann is survived by her husband George Tatom; Children, Nick and wife Lisa Elmore, Patrick and wife Valerie Elmore, Patsy and husband Ray Rosas, William and wife Angela Tatom, Laura and husband Lew Card; sister, Debbie (Ashabranner) Eubank; brothers, Joe Ashabranner, Adam Lee, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
