Tawnia Marie (Bancroft) Spaulding, 41, of Kansas City, MO passed away on September 7th, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1980 to Dave and Diane Bancroft of Raytown, MO. After graduating Raytown High School and Joe Herndon Career Center, Tawnia started her career as a teacher in Early Childhood Development.
Tawnia’s passion for childcare and caregiving developed at a young age of helping take care of her three younger siblings. Later, Tawnia went on to graduate from Sanford-Brown College and become a Radiology Technician. Where she was able to use her passion for caregiving to help others in need.
Tawnia married Gerald Spaulding III on July 10, 2017 at Lake Paradise. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing, crafting, and candle-making.
Tawnia was predeceased by her grandparents Virgil Heithoff, Richard Bancroft Sr., and Mildred Bancroft. Tawnia is survived by her parents Dave and Diane Bancroft; husband Gerald Spaulding III; grandmother Mildred Heithoff; siblings George (Mickey) Bancroft, Alan (Jamie) Bancroft, and Janelle (Luke) Johnson; nieces and nephews Luna, Ginny, Leyna, Hermione, Lakota, Cherokee, Michael, Mercedes, and Michaeline; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
