Hartman, Norman, age 87, of Beavercreek, Ohio went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania on October 16, 1933, the son of Norman Hartman Sr. and Bessie (Laughery) who preceded him in death along with his loving wife of 63 years, Norma Hartman. Norman and Norma were married on September 26, 1954, in Cecil, Ohio.
Norman is survived by his daughter, Lucinda and husband, Timothy Hume, of Beavercreek; son, Rex and wife Lyn Hartman, of Washington, New Jersey; grandchildren, RaChelle Svoboda and husband Jason, of Beavercreek; Kristan Hill and husband, Daniel, of Clanton, Alabama, Sarah Wohlgemuth and husband, Mark, of Dayton, Ohio; Jonathan Hartman, of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; great grandchildren, Tyler and Phillip Bollinger, Josiah and Grant Svoboda, Ezra and Eliza Wohlgemuth, a brother Bill Hartman and wife Barb, sisters Sue Doty, Lil Fox, and Ann Kalell.
Norman was a graduate of Dayton Bible College and the Founder and Superintendent of East Dayton Christian School in 1978. He was a member of New Life Fellowship church in Riverside, Ohio where he served 45 years on the church board and held the titles of Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Financial Administrator over the years. He was presented the key to the City of Riverside for his accomplishments and achievements in Education.
A private family service will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd.
