Aidan Thomas Moore passed away peacefully in Abbotsford on April 15, 2026, at the age of 39. A man of remarkable intelligence and deep sensitivity, Aidan was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son who balanced a brilliant mind for engineering with a rugged passion for the outdoors.
Born in Ottawa, Ontario, on May 14, 1986, Aidan was the youngest of three boys born to James Arthur and Susan Marie Moore. In 1993, the family moved west to Tsawwassen, where Aidan grew up alongside his brothers, Craig and Brent. It was during these years that he met his high-school sweetheart, Sandra; their connection grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married in 2014.
Aidan attended the University of British Columbia Engineering program, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Applied Sciences. His career in engineering reflected his thoughtful and analytical nature, yet he was perhaps most at home when he was away from the desk. Whether he was mountain climbing, hiking the local trails with Sandra, or spending long afternoons in the garage working on his trucks and cars, Aidan found joy in the mechanics of the world and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Aidan was devoted to his family. After setting down roots in Abbotsford, Sandra and Aidan were busy raising his two active young boys. He will be remembered for his quick sense of humor, his quiet strength, and the kindness he showed to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his two sons, Evan and Logan; his parents, James and Susan; his brothers, Craig and Brent; and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.
