

Sherman was born in Penticton BC on March 13th, 1933. He spent 35 years as a banker which took him throughout the Province from Prince Rupert to Abbotsford and many places in between. Post retirement, Sherman, worked for 17 years as a Security Guard.
As a youth, Sherman, was an avid photographer and stamp collector. In his leisure time, Sherman enjoyed reading western novels and books on war history.
Sherman was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and Lions Club. In later years, Sherman, volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society and Abbotsford Association for Healthy Aging.
Sherman leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Margaret (Cooper), son Mark, daughter Valri (Bradley), grandsons Arlo (Crystal), Levon (Brei) and great granddaughter Flora.
Many thanks to those who cared for Sherman at Maplewood House Abbotsford.
At Sherman’s request, there will be no service, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC in honor of Sherman’s life.
