Blanche Ivy Bushman

Our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on October 9, 2014 in her 89th year. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Bonnie Bushman, Sharol Draney, Penny Bushman; son-in-law, Wayne Mills; grandchildren, Jason (Laurie), Tammy (Cory), Niki (Chad), Chrissy (Lyle), Laura (Sunny), Bryan (Kendl), Trisha (Dave); 17 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by husband, Dave; daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Kimberlee; son-in-law, Ches; grandson, Billy; sisters, Thelma, Shirley; and brother, Wes.

Blanche was born in Alameda, Saskatchewan. She moved to Mt. Lehman, British Columbia where she met Dave. They were married in 1948 and lived in Straiton. In 1967, they moved to Abbotsford where they resided ever since.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, bingo, trips to Reno and family get togethers.

The family would like to thank Dr. Turchen, Dr. Elmayergi and all the wonderful staff that took care of her at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Also, we would like to thank the caring staff at the Cottage Pavillion.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 7:00 pm– 9:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
