Colin Glen Campbell was born on August 19, 1942, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He spent much of his childhood traveling between Vancouver and Hatzic Island, where his grandparents had built a homestead in 1915. At 19 he joined the LDS Church in Abbotsford, where he met Betty and they married on November 3, 1965 at the Temple in Calgary. The couple settled in Abbotsford, where they raised eight children together. Tragically, Betty passed away in 1990, leaving a deep hole in the family. Colin eventually remarried, and Judy joined our family on August 1, 1997, helping him heal and open his heart to love again.
A celebration of life for Colin will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC V2T2X5.
