She is survived by her children: Shirley (Jim) Heeringa, Marvin (Shelagh), Stan (Maxine), Ray (Mary Ann), Carol (Ron) Dekker, Rod (Betty Ann), one brother, Harold Staal, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Marinus (2006), daughter Nelvia (2005), infant granddaughter Kimberly (1987), as well as siblings, brother Anton, sisters: Cecil, Hilda, Ruth, Pauline, and Marion.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Sumas CRC, 700 Sumas Ave, Sumas WA on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
