Irene enjoyed golfing, curling in her early days, and Eastern Star and her singing group recently. Her family meant the world to her.
She is survived by Lynn Harder, Doug (Dianna), Bob (Elayne), June (Daryl), John (Guyla); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Collins.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ray Kirkwood and sister, Ethel Johnson.
She will be sadly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
