July 18, 1932 – February 24 2016

Jacob (Jay) passed away peacefully with his wife and children surrounding him on February 24, 2016 at the age of 83 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Katie, his four children: Daniel Mark Neufeld, Valery Joy Reimer, Heidi Lynn Catherine Willems, and James Maurice (Katia) Neufeld;

12 grandchildren: KatiAnn Michal (Michael) Von Bank, Daniel John Reimer,Jr., (Christopher) Jay (Paula) Willems, Mary-Kay Neufeld, Anthony George Daniel Willems, Jessica Alayne Rachel (Cody) Kutcher, Sarah-Anne Neufeld, Jacob Michael Reimer, Cassandra T. Mackenzie Kutcher, Amy Joy Willems, Joshua Daniel Neufeld and Karalina Kristen Neufeld; 5 great-grandchildren: Zoey Kathryn Von Bank, Olivia Grace Willems, David Michael Von Bank, Emma Noelle Willems and Nicholas Forsman

His sister Helen Loewen, brother-in-law Harry Willms (Elsa), sister-in-law Molly Neufeld and many nieces and nephews and friends.

He is predeceased by daughter Pamela (Paul) Kutcher, parents Mathilde and Jacob Neufeld, two step-fathers: Reinhold Lick & Isaac Toews, three sisters: Hilda Hartfil (Fred), Vera (Nick) Rempel and Susie (Vic) Heinrichs, one brother John Neufeld, parents-in-law Daniel and Katarina Willms, brother-in-law Ed Willms (Margaret).

Jay was a loving, peaceful pastor of 54 years of faithful service for the Lord.

A special thank you to Pastor Ron and the pastoral team at the Clearbrook MB Church throughout the last 20 years. Thank-you to the doctors and staff at the ARHCC (Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center) for all their loving and skillful care for the last 25 days.
