The Artist:
Always behind the lens of her camera, Jeannie was present at her family and friends events and gatherings taking our pictures to preserve and commemorate the memories of our lives. She loved her family, friends and electronics with a passion so fierce you could feel the love in every visit with family and friends, every photograph, drawing, and web creation. Jeannie loved with her whole heart. She loved Wonder Woman, Wynonna Earp, Comic Con and funky clothes.
Jeannie worked tirelessly on projects she believed in. Jeannie was Lead Web Designer for the Justice Education Society, she was working on a project in Guatemala for Violence against Women and Vulnerable groups. Her passion and compassion for equality could be felt in every conversation, seen in every aspect of her work, she lived her life believing what was true in her heart ; justice for all.
Her work on the Guatemalan project earned her several letters of commendation from JES, The Attorney Generals Office of B.C, Ambassador of Canada to Guatemala, along with a newly created award called the “Impact Award” given to Jeannie as the first recipient by the Justice Education Society of Vancouver.
She was a “Super Hero”.
