John was born on December 7, 1946, in San Martino di Lupari, Padova, Italy and moved to Canada with his mother Amabile and sister at the age of 5 to join his father Gentile.
He is survived by his wife, and high school sweetheart of 55 years, Patricia, Daughter Nancy (Richard), Son Chris (Michele), Daughter Karen, Sister Yvonne (Tony), Niece Laura (Duane), Nephews Brian and Steven, and Niece Erin. John also had 2 granddaughters Madelyn and Katherine.
He loved his family very much.
Throughout his life, John was always willing and able to lend a hand or ear for anyone, for any reason. John always kept busy. You could find him travelling, camping, gardening or fishing with his family.
A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford BC.
