He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Selma (Sandy) Strowbridge, son, Karl (Bev), son-in-law, Hans Bodden; grandchildren, Paula and Christopher Strowbridge, Tara (John) McCarthy, Derrick (Kristina) Bodden, Krista (Curtis) Hofer, Andreas and Jonathan Geng; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Adina Neufeld, Helen Schmidt and Selma Kupka; and extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lydia (1989); daughter, Alice Bodden (2003); 3 brothers and 1 sister.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11:30 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware Street, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Christoph Reiners officiating. Interment will follow at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
