Born in Vancouver on January 26th, 1950, Lynn was the youngest of four sisters (Barbara, Pat and Sue). It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lynn Nancy Black. Lynn passed away peacefully on Thursday August 29th, 2013 in Abbotsford, BC surrounded by family and friends. Lynn was predeceased by her husband James (Jim) Douglas Black, her father Ernest John Stuckless and her mother Doreen Jessie Stuckless (White). Lynn leaves behind her sons David & Daryl and Daughters-in-Law Linda & Lori. Lynn was the proud “Nana Lynn” of five grandchildren – Abby, Thomas, Kiara, Nicholas and Hailey.
Mom was the stability in our family that moved many times around the country. She raised two successful and independent sons that will miss their mother greatly. Nana Lynn was always talked about by her grandchildren who always gravitated to her in a room. Our mother and Nana Lynn will be remembered for her infectious laugh and fun loving attitude.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior of British Columbia.
