He was diagnosed with PSP in 2017.
Born in 1948 and raise in Montreal, Serge moved to Northern BC in 1972. Six months later he married Pirkko at Headwaters Ranch. Four years later they moved to Fort Nelson, where Serge began his career with Westcoast Transmission. In 1990 he was transferred with his family to Abbotsford, where he, along with his family remain today.
Serge loved being with people: his hockey buddies, tennis group, church friends, and certainly his family. He and Pirkko enjoyed many holidays abroad as well as sailing along the West Coast of BC in their “Escondida.”
Serge is predeceased by his mother, sister, brother-in-law, and father.
Serge is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Pirkko, children Dora (Shinae & Denae) Luc (Stephanie) and Dawn (Matt) plus 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Serge at Northview Church (32040 Downes Rd, Abbotsford, BC V4X 1X5) On Monday, June 12th at 1 o'clock PM.
