Anna Kathryn Inglish

Anna “Kathryn” Inglish, 95, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in a local medical center. Graveside services will be 10:30a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 in the Highland Cemetery in Stamford, TX under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. Memorial services will be 2:00p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 in the University Place Senior Living Facility, 1250 EN 10th St., Abilene. Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St., Abilene.

Kathryn was born in Abilene, Texas on April 26, 1918 to the late Andrew and Bertha Griggs McNabb. She attended schools in Stamford and also attended McMurry college. In 1940, Kathryn married Jeff D. Inglish in Stamford, TX. She retired as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Abilene Garden Club as well as a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a longtime resident at University Place Senior Living Facility where she had many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jeff D. Inglish, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, George A. Inglish and wife, Silda of Midland, TX and Jeff D. Inglish, Jr. and wife, Anne of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Michelle J. Ellwood, Nichole M. Inglish, Brittany A. Inglish, Sarah (Jordan) Inglish, Jeff D. Inglish, III, Conner L. Inglish, and Blake A. Inglish.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 209 S. Danville, Suite B-107, Abilene, TX 79605.
