Annette was born Minnie Annette Webb to the late J.W. Webb and Minnie (McFadin) Webb on January 2, 1937, on the family farm a few miles north of Whitharrel, Texas. She attended Whitharrel schools, playing varsity basketball and graduating in May 1955.
She married DPS Trooper Lee Roy Hargrove on October 13, 1957, in Littlefield, Texas. They had two children, Gary Lee in June of 1959 and Sharla Lynae in July of 1962. The family relocated to Abilene in June 1966. After both kids were in school, she went to work part time at Sears department store, which turned into a full-time position, and she retired after 32 years of service.
After retirement she concentrated on her two favorite passions: her grandkids and great-grandkids, and watching her favorite football team The Dallas Cowboys.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy; daughter Sharla; four brothers Harold, JD, Lemual and Aubrey; and two sisters Margaret Rodgers and Lucille Couch.
She is survived by her son Gary Lee Hargrove of Abilene; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
