Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 US Hwy. 277 S. with Pastor Juan Valdez officiating the services. Interment will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories where she will be laid to rest with her late husband. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6-8:00 PM also at the funeral home.
Antonia entered this life on September 11, 1954 in Abilene, TX. She was born to the late Antonio and Francisca Rodriquez. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jose Silvas, Sr. and one sister, Rachel Wacker.
She is survived by her son, Jose Silvas his wife, Brandy their children, Meghan, Tryna, Luciano, Alejandra, and Daxlynn; her daughter, Brenda Banda her husband Mike their children, Manuel, Macario and Elena; her son, Julio Silvas his children, Antonio Silvas, Julio Silvas, Jr. his wife Samantha and Richard Silvas; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Silvas, Lurrelly Mills, Mealinn Harness, Luciano, Jr. and Jadeyn Tapia, Braxton Montez, Branson, Isabella, Julio III and Zaylianna Silvas. She is also survived by her sisters, Manuela Sanchez and Eloise Rodriguez and her husband, David; many nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
Antonia had a passion for beautiful flowers, gardening, crafting, the occasional casino trip. Food was her love language she loved cooking for her family and baking some of the most amazing treats. Most of all Antonia loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her family was important to her, no greater gift in life. We will cherish the memories as we lay her to rest.
