Baldemar “Junior” Perez, 53, of Snyder Texas, walked into the arms of Jesus on May 22, 2025, with family at his side, while in the care of Hendrick Hospice of Abilene. In keeping with Baldemar’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
Baldemar was born on February 2, 1972, in Haskell Texas, the fourth child and baby boy of Baldemar Perez, Sr. and the late Guadalupe Carrasco-Perez. He was raised in Haskell, where he grew up attending St. George Catholic Church with his family. He graduated from Haskell High School in 1990.
In 1991, Baldemar met the love of his life, Kristen Leigh Perdue of Knox City, Texas. The two were married in July of 1997 and have resided in Snyder since 2003. His “fur babies,” Lucy & Nala, were his children, and they will miss his snuggles and him throwing the ball. He spent most of his working life as a hot shot driver in the oilfield industry. He enjoyed rooting for his Miami Hurricanes and playing golf with his buddies, who referred to him as “Junebug” and “Coach”. He had a contagious laugh that put a smile on everyone’s face, had a love of classic cars, and he and Kristen loved going to classic car shows and planning to buy a classic of their own one day. Baldemar never hesitated if someone needed help; he was there with his heart of gold.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Perez.
He is survived by his devoted wife Kristen; his father Baldemar Perez, Sr. of Haskell; siblings Belia Abila and husband Johnny of Haskell; Joseph Perez and wife Tracie of Clyde; Patrick Perez of Clyde; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Allan Farmer of Abilene; brother-in-law, Dylan Farmer of Abilene; sister-in-law, Lauren Farmer of Las Cruces, New Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and many special friends.
Thank you to everyone who prayed, called, visited and supported him during his fight. He was loved by many and blessed by all.
