Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 30th at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories at 5701 US Hwy 277 South, Abilene TX. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, from 5-7:00 PM also at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
She was born on June 26, 1935 to parents Mary Debartha Colwell Bethell and Buchanan Staley Bethell and attended the original Wylie Elementary School before ultimately graduating from Abilene High in 1953. She was married to George Hugh Hibbitts on June 5th of that same year.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, George Hugh Hibbitts.
She is survived by her children, Kerry Ray Hibbitts of Oklahoma City, OK, Glenda Gayle Parr of Little Elm, TX and Linda Ann Shroyer of Abilene TX; grandchildren, Caleb Paul Straus and Rance Kade Parr; and great grandchildren, Bryan David Joseph Finley-James, Trenton Liam Reese Finley-Straus and Elden Robford Luke Finley-Straus.
