Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in First Baptist Church, with Reverend Palmer McCown officiating. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. in Fife Cemetery (near Brady, Texas), directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Betty Jo was born September 12, 1929 to Buna Browning and Lincoln Lohn in Lohn, Texas. She married Billy Tedder. Betty Jo was employed by Thornton's Department Store as an advertising manager. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cindy Coberley; and a sister, Rosalie Behrens.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Tedder of Abilene; a son, Chuck Tedder and wife, Sidney, of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Hailey Tedder, Ashley Tedder, Lu Stephens, and John Coberley; and a brother, Larry Lohn of Maxwell, Texas.
