Carolyn was born to Oswald & Olivia (Rentel) Merks on December 4, 1945. To know Carolyn, was to understand the meaning of “Unconditional”. If you were a part of her life, you were automatically in her Heart. Her presence of peace was just the cover of the book; her story tells quite the tale. Her passion to love, care, support, and give without hesitation are few words to describe this irreplaceable woman. She without a doubt loved big, but you could not let her sweet demeanor fool you. If she looked over those glasses at you, you knew you were in trouble. She will be remembered for her passion for fast cars, great food, football and family.
She was a Loving Mom to Her only Son, Paul A. Keaton, lll, his wife, Nora. She was a proud Nana to her Sunshine, granddaughter Ashley Page, her husband, Anthony; her great grandchildren & step grandchildren; brother, Richard & Cheryl Merks; sister, Charlene & Wayne Heirholzer. She is also survived by her nieces, great nieces, nephews & great nephews, The John Carroll Family, Allen & Connie Keaton, Kristine & Tony Bass amongst several friends and loved ones.
She is Preceded in death by; her Parents, Oswald and Olivia (Rentel) Merks and her grandson, Paul A. Keaton, IV.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.elliott-hamil.com for the Keaton family.
