Deborah J. Griswold

Deborah Joyce Griswold, aged 61, entered into eternal peace on February 27, 2016. Deborah was born on November 13, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of R.G and Irma Deen Haddox. She received her Associates Degree from TSTC in 1993 and later studied General Ministries at Kingdom Advance School of Ministry. She married James Griswold in September 1994 and remained married until his passing in 2008. Deborah was a member of FountainGate Fellowship in Abilene, TX and later a member of Ballow Springs Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, TX, both where she was a faithful servant helping in any way God called her. All who were blessed to know her would testify that she was a kind, gentle soul with a loving, generous heart who loved her family and friends dearly. Preceding her in death were her parents R.G and Irma Deen; her beloved husband, James; sister, Levoy Arnold; and brother, Bobby Haddox.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her brother, Bob Haddox of Jal, New Mexico; adoring children, Stephen Curry and wife, Beverly; daughter, Latrisha Clark and boyfriend, Dwight Stacy, both of Mineral Wells; Timothy Curry and wife, Wanda of Abilene and Michael Curry and wife, Helenna of Spicewood; sister-in-law, Lori Haddox of Moore, Oklahoma; along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at FountainGate Fellowship, 909 N Willis St., Abilene, TX with burial to follow in Hawley Cemetery, Hawley TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St., Abilene TX.

Deborah will truly be missed by her family and all that knew her.
