Beulah Faye Langley Clinton Bruner born May 17, 1926 in Eula, Texas. Born in Eula Texas to parents John Cummings Langley and Nola Belle Toomer. Faye was the youngest of nine children, of which all have preceded her in death.
Graduated from Wylie High in the height of WWII in 1943 and immediately started to work to support her family while the men were away. Faye worked around the Big Country for numerous construction related companies and loved every moment.
In 1946, she met, fell in love and married Johnny Clinton. Married December 31, 1948 and loved every year to his death in 1986. Together they raised two children, Randy and Mike, and fostered two children, Tina Marie and Wanda Brooks. Faye remarried in 1989 to longtime family friend, Dub Bruner until his death in 2010.
Faye was a fighter, a breast cancer and heart disease survivor, but the death of two husbands and one son took it’s toll. Due to complications with memory, she moved to Dallas in 2013 and lived out her years around the loving staff of Juliette Fowler Properties with her son Mike and daughter-in-law Rhonda.
Mom loved everyone she met, worked with, and most importantly, those she worshiped with at Highland Church of Christ. She was an inspiration for many, being Woman of the Year for the Abilene Business Women’s Association). May God Bless her, for she is finally home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Clinton; her siblings, Ila Mae Appleton, Opal Leola Skiles, Delma Harwell Langley, Floyd John Langley, Burley Otis Langley, James Lofton Langley, Clifton Lee Langley and Lloyd Jim Langley.
She is survived by her son John Michael Clinton, wife Rhonda; grandsons, Scott and Lance; great grandsons, Mateo, Nathaniel from Scott and John and Lucy from Lance.
