Glenn G. Henry

Glenn G. Henry went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 84. Funeral services will be 2:00p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South with Rev. Robert Wingrove officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

Glenn was born on October 9, 1931 in Evant, Texas to the late John H. Henry and Lois Townsend Henry. He married Patsy Jo Green on February 15, 1956 in Abilene, TX. Glenn was self-employed; owning Henry's Produce for 30 years and then Henry's Grass Company for 28 years before retiring in 2012. As he would say, "He never had a bad day in his life."

Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Mildred Faye and June Ledbetter; and a brother, Donald Henry. Survivors include his sons, Jerry Henry and wife, Debi of Anson, TX, Billy Henry and wife, Martha of Lawtson, S.C., and Gary Henry and wife, Tollie of Abilene; a daughter, Jenna Henry Logan and husband, Dale of Abilene; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Vega and the Hendrick's nurses on Parker 7 for the great care of our Dad.
