Harvey Louis Brooks, 69, of Andrews, Texas passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010. Graveside services will be held at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 26 with a memorial service following at Andrews Church of Christ in Andrews, TX at 6 p.m. with Rick Cunningham, minister of 14th & Main Church of Christ of Big Spring, TX officiating.
Harvey was born Aug. 3, 1941 in Hobbs, NM and married Judy Ann Norton on Sept. 1, 1962. He grew up in Jal, NM.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Brooks, and children, Melanie and Dean Wheeler, Angie and Kelly Long, Tye and A'Lisa Brooks, and 10 grandchildren.
Arrangements under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory, Abilene, TX with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010.
