Jackie Lee Boyd

Jackie graduated from Morrilton High School in 1963 in Morrilton, Arkansas and served in the U.S. Army (aircraft maintenance). Jackie and family moved to Abilene, Texas in 1998, retiring in 2007 from construction of 32 years in Commercial Building as Field Engineer (Surveying) and Construction Superintendent (last work for Epic Construction in Abilene).

Preceding him in death were his parents and a grandson, Jeremiah Price.

Survivors include his loving wife Irma of 35 years; his son, Jackie Lee Boyd, II; daughters, Tracy Lee Greenwood and husband, Mike from Bryant, Arkansas and Cristina Boyd Thomas from Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Rachel and Jaclynn Greenwood, Jordan Alexis Scott and Caprice Faith Thomas.

Jackie loved to barbeque outside and watch his favorite sports, Nascar Racing and the Dallas Cowboys.

Inurnment services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home in Abilene.
