James Eric Griggs, 52, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Arkansas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m., today, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 S., Abilene, with Jim Henegar officiating.
James was born August 31, 1961 in Gilmer, Texas, the son of Peggy Griggs and the late James Hugh Griggs.
James is survived by his mother, Peggy Griggs; a son, Jonathan Griggs; three daughters, Misty Arbelbide and husband, Jeffery, Jamie Griggs, and Erica Griggs; brothers, Michael Griggs, and Robert Griggs and wife, Sandy; and two grandchildren, Logan Arbelbide and Zoe Scifres.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hugh Griggs.
