

Judy Irene Hurni, 68, of Abilene passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at a local medical facility after battling cancer for the past couple of years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012 at Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St., with Gary Cheek officiating. A luncheon/visitation with family will be held following the service for all friends and family there at the funeral home.
Judy was born February 11, 1944 in Michigan but has resided in Abilene the past 30+ years. After working at KOA for several years, Judy pursued the culinary world, working as a cook at Lamplighter Motel, Dixie Pig, and most recently, Arby's. She also loved playing bingo!
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert Braden and Ruth Case.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Harold Bradshaw; five sons, Russell Oliver of Grand Rapids, MI, Randy Fraley and Cindy of Olivet, MI, Ted Fraley of Georgia, Rob Fraley of Charlotte, MI, Jay Fraley and Melissa of Abilene; three daughters, Jody Truitt and Kenny of Moscow, MI, Trudy Gwilt and Jack of Battle Creek, MI, and Deborah Sellers of Abilene; two sisters, Arlene "Pug" Case and Barb Case of Charlotte, MI; a brother, Carroll "Cork" Case also of Charlotte, MI; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends
