Linda was born on March 22, 1949 to Jack and Hazel Chapman. She was a McMurry graduate and retired from Frito-Lay after more than 30 years of service. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Linda loved others fully and was deeply devoted to her friends and family.
Linda is survived by her brothers, Lynn Chapman and Larry Chapman, both of Abilene; nieces and nephews, Nicole Ludlow (Steve) of Elkhart, Indiana, Kristi Henderson (Dennis) of Abilene, Chandra Bruton (Chase) of San Angelo, and Cody Chapman (Veronica) of Fredericksburg.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 US Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Felicia Hopkins will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Chase Bruton, Steve Ludlow, Dennis Henderson, Kyle Henderson, Kaleb Henderson, and Cody Chapman.
