Micah was born in Breckenridge, Texas on October 7, 1987. His parents were the late Stephen W. Pearce and Athena M.(White) Pearce., he was raised in a loving Christian home. He was an active child and enjoyed riding his bicycle. His family eventually moved to Abilene where he graduated from Cooper High School.
Micah enjoyed being around people. Though stubborn he was loving and had a big heart. He loved McDonalds often summarizing his request to his sister, “Chicken Nuggets”. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as going to the car wash. He took advantage of several work opportunities that the State Supported Living Center offered. He even participated in the Special Olympics.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Rachel Pearce. He is also survived by a host of Caregivers and The Abilene State Supported Living Center. Over the years many people have loved Micah and been an amazing part of his journey. Including current and former employees of the Abilene State Supported Living Center family.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of ASSLC 2501 Maple Abilene, Texas.
