Pablo Puente Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at College View Baptist Church, with Pastor Randy Roy officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory, Abilene. Burial will be held later in the week in Crystal City, Texas. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pablo was born November 29, 1960 to Pablo V. Puente, Sr. and Rosario Sepulveda Puente in Crystal City, Texas. He married Sandra Kay Dennie. Pablo served his country in the United States Air Force for 13 years. He later worked for Abilene Lumber Company. Pablo recently lived with his wife in Bahrian and was involved with the United with Jesus Global Missions there. He was a member of College View Baptist Church. Pablo was a very loving husband for 30 years and a wonderful father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Rosario Puente of Crystal City, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Puente of Abilene; his son, Pablo Che Puente and wife, Ericka of Abilene; two daughters, Landrea Fields and husband, Thorin of Boone, North Carolina and Caroline Puente of Abilene; three brothers, Jamie Puente, Thomas Puente, and Rolando Puente; two sisters, Maria Lopez and Betty Moncada; and three grandchildren, Brandon Hatchell II, Khloe Puente, and Dorian Fields.
