After high school, she attended airline school and worked for several airlines before returning to Texas with Braniff Airlines.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Griffin, children; Charlotte Nelbach Batch and Mary Nelbach Graff, three step children; Kristy Griffin Moore, Stephanie Griffin Russell and Steve Griffin, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2 pm at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 S, in Abilene. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
