Phyllis L. Revland, 66, our beloved sister, mother, rocking grandmother, and GG left this world on Sunday, July 1st, 2012, to join her beloved husband, Robert Revland, and family members in a glorious reunion in Heaven.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory Street with Steve Patterson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born September 19, 1945 to George Washington Patterson and Rosie Cleo Pritchard Patterson in Benton, Arkansas. She left this world just the way she lived, fast and efficient. Phyllis got her diagnosis, put her affairs in order, spoke to all those she needed to, and left the medical center to go home where she passed away into the next world a few hours later. The only thing Phyllis loved more than her family was Elvis. With her loving and dedicative nature, she was well known to open her home to anyone in need and devoted over 25 years of her life to her fabric department customers with Wal-Mart.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rosie Patterson; her husband, Robert Revland; and her brother, Ed Patterson.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Turner and husband, John, of Odessa, Texas; son, Ronald aka Tazz Revland and wife, Sandra, of Abilene; grandkids, Nikki, Sean, Cody, Candice, Chris, Hali, and Matthew; ten great-grandkids; sisters, Pat Elgin and Carole Wagner; brothers, Don Patterson, Cecil Patterson, and Curtis Patterson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express many thanks to the staff of Hendrick Medical Center and Hendrick Hospice Care for their compassionate care of our loved one.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
