Ronnie D. Teague

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 North 2nd Street, Abilene, directed by Community Memorial Funeral Home.

Ronnie was born August 23, 1944 to Dezmel Lavonne Teague and Geneva Merle Jackson Teague in California. He was raised and attended schools in Elmdale. Ronnie married Shawn Bridgestock on October 23, 1999 in Abilene, Texas on the Hardin-Simmons University campus. He worked as a truck driver for Ingram Enterprises for 16 years until his retirement in 2009. Some of Ronnie’s hobbies were fishing and bar-b-queuing. His three dogs were his best buddies. Ronnie enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandson. He will be remembered and missed by many.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, T.J. Griffon and wife, Shanda Bollinger, of Tuscola, Texas and Tyler Bridgestock of Abilene; two daughters, Michelle Bridgestock of Lubbock, Texas and Cynthia Jackson and husband, Joseph, of Azel, Texas; one brother, Lonnie Everett Teague and wife, Patsy, of Abilene; eighteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
