Shirlene Gage passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 75. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in the Buffalo Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, located at 5701 Hwy 277 South, on Saturday evening from 5 to 7pm.

She was born on August 13, 1942 in Loop, Texas to Robert and Pauline Strube. She met Jerry Gage in 1956 and they were married on August 22, 1959.

She was over the printed page Bible Ministry for 45 years at Abilene Bible Church.

Shirlene was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Doug Strube.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gage of Abilene; sons, Rusty Gage of Maui, HI and Corey Gage and wife Angie of Cedar Park, TX; daughter, Wendy Rostagno and husband Joe of Duffau, TX; and grandchildren, Cole, Ashley, Brittany, Justin, Sarah, Emily, Austin, Mackenzie, Everly, Ivy, Reece and Rocco.
