

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic 837 Jeanette St, Abilene, TX 79602 with Rev. Albert Ezeanya officiating. Interment will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 6-8:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 Hwy. 277. S. in Abilene.
Teodoro was born on February 17, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas o the late Juan B. Salinas and Juanita (Garcia) Salinas. He attended school in San Antonio and stopped his formal education at an early age to begin working. He served his country both faithfully and honorably in the Army National Guard. Teodoro was a hard worker and loyal employee. He worked many years for H&H Chaney, A.C.U and lastly the Abilene Country Club. He was detailed at whatever he did especially shining shoes. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as watching his westerns, sitting on the porch with his beloved dog, Lala, and dancing. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family. Simply put Teodoro was a good man and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Gina Salinas; son, Antonio Salinas; brothers, Faustino and Paublo Salinas; sister, Lucia Salinas.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Frances Garza Salinas; his daughters Jo Ann Salinas Albiar; Mary Lou Garza, Nora Mauricio; his son, Alex Garza; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; brothers; Juan and Robert Salinas; sisters, Susan Salinas, Anita Garcia, and Aurelia Lajah; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
