Teresa was born on September 15, 1964 in Savannah, GA. She was one of five children born to the late William Samuel Hendry and the late Betty (Brower) Hendry. She was raised in Ellabell, GA alongside many other relatives and extended family where they created many unique memories that Teresa enjoyed looking back on with a good laugh. Teresa graduated from Bryan County High School in 1982. She eventually relocated to Texas where she lived in Abilene for a number of years. She operated her own daycare TT’s Rugrats. Later on, she started a new career as a phlebotomist and worked for the Abilene State Supported Living Center. She eventually settled in Clyde, TX in 2010. In the later years, she enjoyed working alongside her sister and other friends in a construction business.
Teresa was a loving mother who enjoyed many memories created with her son. Her love and devotion went to many of her family members. She was a devoted daughter, dutiful sister, a caring aunt, and loyal cousin. Her concern was always of those around her over herself. She always wanted to make sure those she loved were taken care of. Teresa was also honest; you knew where you stood with her. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like shopping for jewelry and especially getting great deals when shopping. While her passing brings to a close a beautiful life lived, memories of her shall never die.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William F. Hendry and Gregory K. Hendry; her grandparents, and a host of aunts and uncles.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, her only child, Geoffrey Rahn and his wife Nicole; her granddaughter, Brooke all of Fort Walton Beach, FL; her sisters, Donna Hendry of Clyde, Texas, and Rita Roddy of Ellabell, GA; , her nephews, Alan Manuszak, Nicholas Canevit, Jacob Hendry, and Dalton Roddy; one great-nephew, James Manuszak; her uncle, Marion Brower; two special cousins, Donald Brower, Jr. and Tony Brower; Her life partner Rick; numerous other cousins, loved ones and special friends.
Memorial Services celebrating her life will be held at a later date closer to home.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.elliott-hamil.com for the Rahn family.
