Tisha Roche' Burns

Tisha Roche’ Burns, 43, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in Abilene. Funeral services will be 11:00a.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Mathew Lubin officiating. Burial will follow in the Abilene City Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Tisha was born on August 9, 1969 in Abilene to William Wayne Stout and Claudia Burns. She was born and raised in Abilene. Tisha was very quiet and loved being around her family. She enjoyed playing bingo and also being a part of the Relay for Life and a member of the Cancer Society. Tisha loved helping elderly people and she was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, William Stout of Queensbury, KY; her mother, Claudia Burns and friend James Culberson; a son, LaDale Harris of Abilene; two daughters Jazi Ross and husband, Randy and Tasia Terrell all of Abilene; a special friend, Frank Bailey of Abilene; four brothers, Naka Jackson and wife, Jana of Abilene, Ole Williams and wife, Tasha of Abilene, Charles Gray and wife, LaChandra of Ft. Worth, and Baris Gee; sisters, Vayne Riley of Owensboro, KY and Kajeanna Jones of Abilene; her uncles, James Mitchell of Lancaster, TX and Herman Burns and wife, Dixie of Paris, TX; a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.
