Quietly on October 18, 2008 with her family by her side, Anne Lyall, in her 48th year, joins the spirit of her father, William C. McBride. Anne is remembered through her 4 children: Garrett, Caylanne, Andrew and Cara, her beloved husband Mark, sister Sharon Nease, mother Elda McBride, sister-in-law Susan Lyall and in-laws Duncan and the late Barbara Lyall.
What is Success by Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know even one life…has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. Amen
A private family service will be held this week.
Anne’s love of animals was shown through her two puppies, Colin and Selina, who were both rescued from animal shelters.
In lieu of flowers, Anne would appreciate having a donation made to your local humane society.
