

She was the beloved wife of Norman (1985) and the loving mother of Phyllis Patrick and her husband Vic (1986) and Glenice Hurren and her husband Ken (2000).
Jessie was dearly loved and admired by her grandchildren Susan Knabenschuh and her husband Conrad,
Trevolyn Louttet and her husband Ron, Ken Hurren and Marsha, and her great-grandchildren Kristel and Jeffrey Knabenschuh, Richard and Angela (Devon) Louttet, Ryan (Casey) and Luke Hurren.
She is survived by her sister Helen Bristow and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Jessie’s passions in life were her prize-winning baking, handicrafts, canning and jam making at the Acton, Georgetown and Milton Fall Fairs winning several prizes and most overall points during her 22 years of participation.
Jessie’s family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, Ontario
on Tuesday, August 31st from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate Jessie’s life will take place in the “Shoemaker Chapel” on Wednesday, September 1st at two o’clock. The interment will follow in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery.
Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice
