John was predeceased by his wife Rochelle Cunningham (Henderson). He is survived by his children Sharon Cunningham, Sandra Cunningham, and Michael Cunningham (Shannon). His grandchildren Sarah Buscarino (Jeff), Victoria Cunningham (Chris), and Jakob Cunningham. His great-grandchildren Nora Buscarino, and William Wozniak. As well as his brother-in-law Richard Henderson (Pat).
John was also predeceased by his siblings Bruce Cunningham, Robert Cunningham, and Norma Roman (Cunningham).
John worked from the age of 17 at Dills Printing and Publishing in Acton and later at Metroland Printing for 47 years.
He had an avid interest in sports, playing hockey and golf into his eighties. He enjoyed camping and in later years, his trailer on the Magnetawan River in Britt, Ontario.
His smile will be missed by family and friends and all who knew him as "Mr. C", but most of all by his cat Annie.
