

Florence Ellen (Presler) Hall, 82, went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 25th, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer in the comfort of her own home in Akron, Ohio. She was born February 5th, 1939 in Akron to Wayne Presler, an Akron Police Officer, and Eleanor Doughty. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Akron in 1957 and then from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio in 1960 as an RN. For more than 35 years, Florence touched the lives of so many through the field of nursing in the Akron-Canton & Youngstown, Ohio, Jamestown, New York and Charleston, South Carolina areas. She retired from nursing while enjoying southern living in Charleston. Florence thoroughly enjoyed sewing, painting, arts & crafts, floral arranging, cooking, music & singing, reading and her beloved cats.
She leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Charles R. Hall of Akron; daughter Alice (Jeff) Incorvia of Akron; sons Jeff (Julie) Murray of Cary, North Carolina; Greg (Connie) Murray of Haymarket, Virgina; John (Sandy) Murray of Akron; adopted mother Audrey Cross; brother John (Diane) Stevenson; sisters Audrey (Gary) Nichols; Gail Klusty; Brendabeth Stevenson Rickenbacher; Amy Brncik-Fetterman; grandchildren Crystal & Heather Brodzenski; Elizabeth & Victoria Luckenbaugh; Abigail & Lauren Murray; Jayden & Josh Murray; Isabella Incorvia; many nieces & nephews; and her cats, Romeo and Rascal.
Preceded in her death were her father & mother, Wayne & Eleanor Presler and sisters Naomi (Presler) Boltz and Diane (Charlie) Stevenson Toney.
Funeral arrangements will be held Friday, July 2nd with calling hours from 4-6 pm and funeral service at 6 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St., Akron, OH 44333. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.rosehillbp.com
